Nafplio
An impressive 18th-century Venetian fortress, built 216 meters above Nafplio. It’s famous for the 999 steps leading to its summit (though there is also a road). The view over the Argolic Gulf and the town is breathtaking, especially at sunset.
A small island fortress in the middle of Nafplio’s harbor, built by the Venetians in the 15th century. It has served as a fort, a residence for executioners, and a hotel. Today, it is accessible by boat and stands as an iconic symbol of the town.

Mycenae
The ancient city-state that was the center of Mycenaean civilization, famously mentioned in Homer’s Iliad. Its ruins reveal a glorious history and the advanced architecture of the Mycenaeans.

Myloi
